20 participants took part in the inaugural Career Guidance Program from 30 July to 2 August 2015, held at the Dialog Training Centre in Colombo. Started in partnership with Forte, a professional career development company, the free program aims to prepare university graduates for their first career. how to conduct themselves, and how to navigate their way through the working world. Over the course of four days, our participants learnt about things such as how to tailor their career to their values, prepare themselves for interviews and tests, and business etiquette. They also had the opportunity to listen to industry leaders from the corporate sector, who came down to share their experiences and tips on getting hired.
